1. Study and characterization of plant and microbe cell wall composition and their role in plant development processes
2. Characterization of cell wall-derived molecules as potential immunity modulators in plants
3. Development of novel biosolutions and/or biofertilizers to improve plant defense and crop production yield
4. Study of the synthesis and metabolism of secondary metabolites with interest in food and agriculture industries.
